Rooted Young Adults 18-30
Friends are a very important part of life. God did not design us to live our lives alone. We are made to be part of a community. That is one of the reasons God instituted the church, for believers to help one another in their growth. There are commands in the New Testament called the “One Anothers” which tell us how we should relate with other Christians around us. The Christian life is not to be lived alone.
However, in the stage right after high school, finding friends can be hard. Friends from high school go to a different college and are distanced physically. Also, some friends just change and are no longer good friends. Other people are just not going to point you in the right direction. Friends that are good and godly can be hard to find, for those who have graduated from high school or are just starting their career.
That is one of the reasons we started our Young Adult Rooted Sunday School class to help young adults build friendships with each another. Friendships that will help edify one another. We plan on having events at least once a month. Also, during our Sunday School Class at 9:30 am there is always going to be time for fellowship. If you are between the ages of 18-30, come join us on Sundays at 9:30 am!
